About Karen

I started coaching skating in 1983 and began applying my figure skating background expertise to hockey powerskating in 1999. Since then I have worked with hockey players of all ages and levels, from Initiation to Major Junior A to Professionals.

I have completed level 3 in the National Coaching Certification Courses in theory, practical and figure skating technical and hold a degree in Law and Psychology from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - including sports psychology studies.

My passion is to coach skating, to see the smile that comes with accomplishment and to spread the "I Can" attitude!
