| Drill description: |
Get into the "READY" position by placing your feet into a "V" position and placing your weight onto your pushing foot.
GO - push in a 45 degree angle direction and fully extend the leg to the point where you lock your knee and DRAG it along the ice.
Continue to glide on the inside edge and return the extended leg to a "V" position and get SET to push onto the next foot.
Repeat.
To increase the level of difficulty - hold the extended foot 1 inch above the ice rather than dragging it on the ice. |
