Drill
description:

|
- Start
in one corner of the ice
- Skate
forwards twice around the endzone in a large circle
- Keep
outside shoulder in front - watch that the shoulders don't dip
into the center of the circle - keep them level
- Practice
proper crossover technique pushing the leg out and then under
- After
2 circle completions, skate into the middle zone of the ice and
repeat in the opposite direction
- After
2 circle completions, skate into the other endzone and repeat
in the original direction
Repeat backwards - remember to sit back into the knees and press
100% bodyweight into the middle of the blade on EACH and EVERY push.
